| This may be old news... I haven't a clue. It might not even be accurate... but in my last post, I made a statement about the amendments changing, and a friend of mine told me that Obama was already trying to get rid of the 2nd Amendment.
The right to bare arms is not merely a safeguard against an invading army. This right gives us the ability to defend ourselves from thieves and murderers, and to prevent the same kind of tyranny our forefathers fought against... you remember, the war we were fighting when we WROTE the bill of rights?
They remembered that history repeats itself. The KNEW that this might happen again. After all revolutions aren't solely associated with the United States...
To me, this amendment isn't only a guarantee that the citizens of the US would have means to protect themselves, it was also an early warning, to point out tyrants.
Go ahead, play your pacifist game. Go ahead and say this is for the safety of the American citizens... but you take sharp objects away from CHILDREN, to keep them from hurting themselves... and we, Mr. President... are not your children.

| Somebody from Australia has been checking out my site. Thing is, I'm big on Australia... if there was one place in the world I could travel to, and that was it... it would be Australia... so... if you're the Australian looking at my site... drop me a line!

| I like so totally suck at following through. But here's something I thought you might like...
--Obama-- --Yes we can-- or --Because Big Brother can help--
By the time a government can and does help the people, the government has become far too powerful. The idea of the government in this country was to establish an authority that might protect the values of the people, not establish it's own. The government was never meant to be a thriving entity. For when people look to the government for solutions, they have lost their own ability to solve problems, leaving the government in total control, or as we've well known it for years, a totalitarian government. The people should be wary of a president with an "agenda."In the next few years, I would look for the constitution to be rewritten. I don't think it's that far fetched...
"All animals are created equal. But some animals are more equal than others."

| Yeah... I'm not the smartest guy to ever roam the streets. I definitely don't know what our politicians are thinking... not that I'd want to. My serious defecates however, are made up by two very encouraging strengths...
I have a somewhat acceptable writing skill and style...
And I love God and His Word with all my heart.
With that said, I'm thinking about writing a weekly post... about some of the serious Biblical issues... and what I think about them.
I have a bunch of topics in mind... so look for the first next Sunday.

| ... we see shadows made, and light is fleeting. We see the world as it may be... And deny ourselves the chance to see it as it is. We scare ourselves And convince ourselves that it just works that way. Should we move? Or remain in a placid malcontent, decaying all the while. Who's going to speak for us? And who's going to keep silent, knowing they have an answer. Who's going to watch. And who's going to look away. What do we wait for? Why do we accept. Why do we wonder a half million times, "what difference does it make?" When the difference gets smaller with every one person moved to a cause. What are we waiting for? Who are you going to change... if you don't change yourself?
